// IT & Cybersecurity - University of Cincinnati

Networking, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies - from coursework, co-ops, and projects.

I'm a double major in Information Technology (Networking concentration) and Cybersecurity at the University of Cincinnati, graduating May 2027 with a 4.0 GPA. Across four co-ops I've designed network architecture, automated business workflows, and led cybersecurity awareness initiatives. I'm CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certified.

About Me

I got into IT because I like the moment a system actually works the way it's supposed to - a VLAN that isolates exactly the traffic it should, a firewall rule that closes one hole and nothing else. That's carried through four co-ops in manufacturing IT and university research, where I've moved from configuring networks someone else designed to designing them myself, and from resolving tickets to writing the segmentation policy that prevents them.

My goal after graduation is to work in networking, systems, and infrastructure - where I'll bring a cybersecurity-first perspective - as a network engineer or systems engineer, ideally somewhere that work also means protecting people - manufacturing, healthcare, finance, or government.
